Cellulite – it’s that orange peel or dimpling effect on the stomach, buttocks, arms, back and thighs, and it’s a natural occurrence for many people worldwide. Generally, it tends to appear when fatty deposits under the skin become visible on the outside. This is a problem that is more prevalent in women (studies have suggested that it affects between 85%-98% of all post-pubertal women). While totally harmless, it can cause embarrassment for some people and has led to a lucrative market for diets, cosmetics and creams that claim to remove it. Yet cellulite often remains, even when all ‘miracle cure’ resources are exhausted.
This begs the question, is it possible to remove cellulite once and for all? We say YES!
We’re often told that losing weight will reduce our cellulite, and there are of course other physiological and psychological benefits to maintaining a well-balanced diet and performing regular exercise. This is true not least because combining these two pursuits helps to maintain a healthy weight and provide your body with the vitamins and minerals it requires to function at its optimum level.
But studies suggest that diet and exercise alone cannot rid you of cellulite. In fact, to date, we can find no evidence of a scientific study that proves that diet or exercise has a deciding factor in the prevention of cellulite (Physiology and Treatment of Cellulite).
For removing cellulite, another option is needed.
Invasive methods such as liposuction and subcision have been employed in the cosmetic surgery world for many years to remove cellulite, but the risks and permanent scarring cannot be overlooked.
Liposuction works by making an incision into the treatment area and breaking down the fat cells before removing them using a cannula attached to a vacuum pump. For some, liposuction can make the appearance of cellulite worse, particularly if too much fatty tissue is removed. The risk of this is increased with the movement of the cannula, which can cause swelling that temporarily alters the appearance of the treated area, giving a false ‘good’ outcome that subsides with the swelling. Because liposuction is performed under the skin, it also causes permanent liposuction scars which can be more visible on BAME skin due to the increased risk of keloid scarring (hard, raised scars which can affect anyone but are more common in the black and Asian communities).
Subcision is where the fat septae (tissues connecting fat to the skin) is severed using an 18 gauge needle, removing it from the epidermis for a smoother effect. It is generally more expensive than Liposuction because it offers more natural results, but the potential long-term side effects are too much for most. As well as a similar risk of skin puckering as mentioned above, this invasive treatment can also cause hyperpigmentation to the treated area and long-term bruising lasting up to six months.
Who wants that when there is an alternative?
At NuLifeBeauty we’re always looking for ways to help our customers improve their appearance and feel more confident about themselves. But more important than that, we want them to improve their appearance painlessly. No long-term bruising or permanent skin puckering here, thank you very much!
That’s why we developed our Ultrasonic Fat & Cellulite Burner, which we believe is the best way of removing cellulite, providing a viable alternative to diet, exercise and invasive treatments. Our Ultrasonic Fat and Cellulite burner is a fat-burning machine for home use that uses ultrasonic technology combined with electronic muscle stimulation (EMS) and far-infrared treatment to eliminate unwanted fat from your problem areas in a few minutes a day.
Three main scientific technologies are working together in our slimming machine. The first of these is ultrasonic technology, which is used in the medical profession in ultrasound diagnostic imaging.
We use low-frequency ultrasonic waves at a subcutaneous level to gently penetrate the skin to target the fat cells underneath. This causes a vibrating sensation and some warmth that disrupts the membranes containing the fat cells, causing some of them to filter into the body’s waste system or turned into glycerol to be used as energy. When applied to cellulite, this can result in a smoother appearance with visibly less dimpling.
Far-infrared technology has been used in the cosmetic industry to improve the appearance of skin through tightening. We use this alongside our ultrasound technology to support the skin as cellulite is removed to ensure that it stays taught even with additional weight loss. Scientific studies have found that there is also a vascular benefit of using far-infrared, with reports suggesting it is beneficial in improving blood circulation in the skin and relaxing the body’s muscles through mitochondrial support.
You may have heard of Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS) before. It is used by doctors to stimulate muscles that need re-educating after a stroke or serious injury and to prevent muscle atrophy. We’ve added it to our ultrasonic cavitation machine to help build the muscles in areas where our machine has removed fat. The benefits of building muscle here are two-fold. Firstly, building muscle in an area such as the buttocks following cellulite removal can help give a sculpted appearance that is aesthetically pleasing. Secondly, the EMS stimulates the muscles to work harder, which causes the body to use more of the broken down fat (glycerol) as an energy source, removing the fat from the body by natural means.
Using the machine is simple. Just follow these steps and you’ll be on your way to removing your cellulite permanently.
To increase the effectiveness of your treatment and to minimize any side effects please do the following:
● Avoid alcohol for 48 hrs prior to treatment
● Avoid Ibuprofen and other NSAIDs for two weeks prior to your first treatment
● Drink two litres of water 24 hours before your treatment
● Try to follow a low fat, low carb and sugar diet.
Step 1: Turn on the device, then click the button for your required setting. You can use the ultrasonic and far-infrared settings at the same time. The EMS setting is separate.
Step 2: Apply oil or water-based moisturiser to the area you wish to treat. We prefer to use our Anti-Cellulite Warming Slimming Gel to increase blood circulation during treatment and tighten our skin post-treatment.
Step 3: Massage the treatment area with the machine.
Step 1: Turn on the device.
Step 2: Clean and dry the treatment area to remove oils.
Step 3: Attach electrodes to the desired treatment area.
Step 4: Select the ‘EMS’ button and adjust the intensity to suit your needs.
Step 5: Clean electrodes after use.
You can maximise your treatment results by ensuring that you drink 2L of water over a 24-hour period following treatment and following a low carb, low sugar, healthy diet.
You’ll be pleased to know that the side effects of using our slimming machine for at-home ultrasonic cavitation are minimal. You may notice very minor swelling or bruising that should subside quickly. It is also unlikely that you will see results straight away. Most people using the device to remove cellulite report that they saw a visible difference after the third 20-minute session.
While our slimming machine is safe, it is not recommended for use while pregnant. If you have any other long-term underlying health conditions, please speak with your doctor before use.
We’ve looked at the traditional cellulite treatment methods, but we believe that none compare to the revolutionary NuLifeBeauty ultrasonic cavitation machine that was created to make you look and feel your best. It’s a great, cheaper alternative to liposuction and in-studio treatments that you can enjoy in your own home without downtime.
